Todd_Nielsen

Eos StudyTours Co-founder, President, and Director Todd Nielsen has been managing educational travel programs for elite institutions for over 30 years. He is a pioneer in non-profit, educational travel. For 14 years, he directed the travel program of the American Museum of Natural History.
Todd is a founding member of the 26-year-old Educational Travel Conference, of which he is an Emeritus Council Advisor and where he has spoken on a wide range of issues concerning non-profit, educational travel. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Urban Planning from Brown University. He graduated from Collegiate School (founded in 1633—the first school in North America).
He has taught both at the New York Zoological Society (zoology/conservation) and the American Museum of Natural History (anthropology/archaeology). Todd has taken training programs at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Museum of the City of New York, and the American Museum of Natural History.
By the age of 35, Todd had planned educational trips to and personally visited all seven continents. He has visited over 70 countries, many of them multiple times. Over the last 30 years, Todd has served as Travel Director for ten non-profit educational institutions, responsible for all of their adult, international, educational travel programs.

Patricia_Dooley

Co-founder and Business Manager Patricia Dooley has been managing educational travel programs for elite institutions for over 25 years. She earned both her B.S. in Foreign Service and M.S. in Chinese (summa cum laude) from Georgetown University, and is fluent in Mandarin Chinese. Throughout the 1980s, Patricia was responsible for the design, development, and successful administration of study tours for leading non-profit organizations across the U.S. An experienced tour manager, Patricia has led many educational travel programs and has traveled extensively worldwide, especially throughout Asia.

Lauren_Cummings

Education Manager Lauren Cummings has been with Eos since 2001, right after graduate school. She has an M.A. in Classical Civilizations and a certificate in Museum Studies; and a B.A. in Anthropology, Classical Civilizations, and Sociology. Lauren has traveled extensively worldwide, often with study tour groups. At Eos, she copyedits all marketing materials and is the liaison between lecturers and tour suppliers, helping to prepare lecturers for their travels and coordinate the educational programs of all land tours and voyages.

Brittany_Walters

Guest Service Coordinator Brittany Walters has been with Eos since 2010. She earned a Bachelor’s degree in Geography and during her junior year spent a semester studying abroad (cruising around the world) on the Semester at Sea program. After graduation, Brittany worked for three years as a customer service representative for a large international study tour program in Brattleboro, VT.

Guest Service Coordinator Emily Clever has an MA in Sustainable Development from SIT Graduate Institute and a BS in International Business Management from Shippensburg University. She is a returned Peace Corps volunteer. She spent her service in Mali, West Africa as an Agriculture Extension Agent. Emily has travelled extensively across Europe and West Africa. Before joining Eos Emily worked in social services for nine years in the Brattleboro, VT area.

Laura Honey

Operations Coordinator Laura Honey has been with Eos since 2014. She works closely with our many domestic and overseas suppliers, especially during the tour planning process. Laura graduated from Hallmark Institute of Photography in Turners Falls, MA and worked as a manager for Vermont Color Photo Labs for 10 years overseeing five locations. She then worked for a dental practice as a Patient Coordinator and Administrative Assistant for 17 years in Charlestown, N.H.

Marketing Coordinator Kat Fulcher has a bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design and has been working as a graphic and web designer for more than 15 years. Additionally, she brings more than 10 years of marketing experience. Prior to joining the Eos team, she worked in media. At Eos, she will be responsible for brochure design, website maintenance, and building a social media platform.

Administrative Assistant Jessica Whiton is originally from Connecticut but moved to Vermont in 2003 for her middle and high school career. She graduated from Leland & Gray Union High School in Townshend in 2009 with honors. Her passion is in administrative work and assisting others. Jessica is looking forward to potentially furthering her education in business and traveling more of the world.
